After graduating from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Rebecca spent her early career specializing in consumer product management consulting with Kurt Salmon Associates in New York. In 2009, Rebecca returned to Virginia and co-founded Evatran, becoming EVP of Sales and Product Development. Rebecca led the company in forging strategic partnerships with Google, Hertz, and the US Department of Energy and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2011. In late 2012, after a competitive national search, the Board asked Rebecca to become Evatran's CEO. In 2013, she was named to Inc. Magazine's Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30. More recently, Rebecca has led the development of Evatran's relationship with China-based strategic partner, Zhejiang VIE, and led the closing of the Company's Series B equity round.
