Eric Edwards is Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Research & Development for kaléo. He is responsible for both co-founding the company and co-inventing their technology platforms, including Auvi-Q/Allerject. Eric directs research and development and medical affairs activities for the company. In addition, Eric is responsible for kaléo's post-marketing clinical programs and all areas of pharmacovigilance and drug safety associated with kaléo's products. Eric received a BS in Biology with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), received his Ph.D in the pharmaceutical sciences from VCU's School of Pharmacy and his MD from the VCU's School of Medicine (formerly the Medical College of Virginia).
